I recently came across an article from the New York Times, discussing Bill Cosby. (Bill Cosby is being crucified for being conservative) In it, it discusses the double-standard in Hollywood on those that are prosecuted for alleged crimes. It points out the fact that Roman Polanski, after admitting to sexual relations with a thirteen year old girl, has received numerous awards and essentially is put on a pedestal by Hollywood. It goes on to say, “Polanski, the director and a producer of the 2002 movie “The Pianist,’’ is celebrated as a cinematic superstud by his toxic admirers.” It does not appear that the liberal left mainstream media has delved into the double-standard of a “celebrated film maker” that had sexual relations with a thirteen year old, and then fled the country to avoid prosecution, and Bill Cosby, a man that was an adulterer.
Let me reiterate, Roman Polanski molested a thirteen year old girl, fled prosecution, and continues to make movies and is celebrated in Hollywood, and the liberal elitists therein. In fact, as proven by Snopes, in 2003, the very outspoken #metoo movement queen, Meryl Streep gave Polanski a standing ovation for winning “best director,” twenty-six years after [allegedly] drugging, raping and sodomizing a thirteen year-old girl. (https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/meryl-streep-applaud-roman-polanski/ – on a side note, Snopes.com attempts to justify it with this statement, “along with nearly everyone else present” as if somehow that makes it better, or ok.)
Bill Cosby, by fact, is a registered Democrat. However, he has always been extremely vocal on black youth, and the woe is me attitudes in the black community. “He’s preached that African-American males need to man up and stop blaming others for their failures, care for their children and clean up gibberish-laden speech.” (https://nypost.com/2015/11/09/perverts-roman-polanski-and-bill-cosby-tangled-in-political-double-standard/.) Perhaps his true downfall was his speech at the NAACP in 2004, ““Looking at the incarcerated, these are not political criminals,’’ Cosby said in the so-called “Pound Cake’’ speech he delivered at a 2004 NAACP awards ceremony in Washington, DC.
“These are people going around stealing Coca-Cola,’’ he said. “People getting shot in the back of the head over a piece of pound cake! And then we all run out and are outraged: ‘The cops shouldn’t have shot him.’ What the hell was he doing with the pound cake in his hand?’’” (https://nypost.com/2015/11/09/perverts-roman-polanski-and-bill-cosby-tangled-in-political-double-standard/) This, I am sure is very unpopular on the left.
I would have been at least a bit skeptical at this being politically motivated. That is until . . .
It surfaced that Morgan Freeman is now also being accused of wrongful … well, something. Apparently flirting with women, or making comments about beauty, etc., is now frowned by “snowflakes.” He is accused of “inappropriate comments.” Seriously?
But, how does this correlate with the Bill Cosby accusations, or the Roman Polanski (lack of) accusations?
Morgan Freeman is also known for being outspoken. Most notably, in this YouTube clip, he states that to stop racism, stop talking about it. “I’m going to stop calling you a white man. And I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man.” (Morgan Freeman, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GeixtYS-P3s).
Further, there is this discussion on CNN in that he states “Bullshit” to Don Lemon on “not everyone can do that” (pull themselves up by the bootstrap) comment. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=63&v=v5DIE6dcY5E)
In an interview with Pierce Morgan, Freeman frankly states that President Obama has made race relations worse.
Like Bill Cosby, he may be a registered Democrat (I have found nothing documented stating such), but he certainly has been outspoken, and on the record, stated views that are contrary to what the left would like the mass population to believe. Both Morgan Freeman and Bill Cosby have made comments that directly contradict the liberal drum beat that certain races in certain neighborhoods are held back, and prevented from making something of themselves.
Has this led to the prosecution of Bill Cosby on past adultery? In which he admits giving pills to women and [allegedly] stating it will make the sex better indicating the both parties knew exactly what was going on, and then who [apparently] willingly took them. Which ultimately has condemned him to prison? Has this led to the persecution of Morgan Freeman for flirting with [allegedly making “inappropriate comments”] women?
Let me stress here, I am in no way whatsoever condemning rape. However, I will say, if someone hands me a pill and says “it will make the sex better,” I would immediately be under the assumption that sex was going to occur. If I had any hesitancy about that, I would not take the pills.
Regardless of the circumstances around the allegations of Bill Cosby or Morgan Freeman, the compelling link of Conservative view persecution, is the outright drooling of the liberal elite of Roman Polanski. I cannot stress enough, that this man drugged, raped and sodomized a thirteen year-old girl, and is still enjoying admiration from his liberal sheep. At the same time, he has never been outspoken on such social issues as oppression, or lack thereof (that I was able to discover.)
Interestingly, a Democrat Attorney General appointed the “acting” attorney general that took up the case to prosecute Bill Cosby.
I obviously cannot say what happened between Mr. Cosby and his accusers. I was not present. However, I do find it awfully coincidental that two outspoken people against typical liberal propoganda are now being persecuted and prosecuted. Especially when a known, rapist, sodomizer and druggist of a thirteen year old girl remains, not only at large, but presented on a pedestal, and receives standing ovations from the Hollywood liberal elite.
Is it acceptable that a Director in Hollywood drug, rape and sodomize a thirteen year old girl? Apparently in the view of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, etc. it is. I can find no other reason that they ignore this fact about Roman Polanski every time he receives a standing ovation from Meryl Streep, and other liberals of Hollywood.
Perhaps I am wrong about this. I would certainly hope that our Justice system could remain blind to persecution of political views. However, in Hollywood, actors and actresses with conservative views have already been ostracized from being in movies and television shows.
Is it a stretch to believe that the same liberal machine that runs Hollywood, Washington and the “mainstream news” media could actually be orchestrating the persecution, and prosecution, of conservatives?
