Back during the 2016 election cycle, Hillary Clinton infamously declared half of America as a “basket of deplorables” declaring that they were racists, xenophobes and homophobes. There has been much written and spoken by opinion-based (rather than fact based) television CNN talk show hosts Don Lemon, Anderson Cooper and MSNBC non-fact talk show hosts Mika and Joe, Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes, to name a few, declaring that white men are the “biggest terror threat” in America. And of course, only conservative white men – I am guessing that is how his husband Anderson Cooper gets a free pass.
Despite the propaganda talk show hosts claims, are conservatives actually intolerant, hateful people – especially conservative white men? Not quite. Let us take a look back through recent years, and the occurrences of hateful and intolerant rhetoric, and where in which they came from.

There is no doubt that is recent days, weeks, months and even a year or more, you have been hammered with the term “fake news.” Conservatives use the term to describe pretty much anything “main stream media.” Liberals use it to deem conservatives as “disillusioned.” Interestingly, there is this article talking to an extent about it. Newsweek proclaimed that “right-wingers” shared the most “fake news.” (to note, they offered no evidence for, or contrary to that aside from “an Oxford study.”) Zach Beauchamp pens an interesting article of Vox.com however, telling of the liberal buy-in to “fake news.” Regardless of the spectrum that you have heard it thrown around, in this day and age of technology, and getting the latest story out before anyone else (in the case of the media) or being the first to say/think it (in the case of social medial such as Twitter and Facebook), the reality is, it does exists, and it is frighteningly more common than you think.

I decided today that I would take a look at CNN.com. I came across a video in which Anderson Cooper was “interviewing” a guest (an American conservative man, Mr. Paris Dennard) about the “tweet” that was made about Don Lemon and Lebron James. At one point in the video, shortly after matter-of-factly-declaring that the response on “Twitter” was, “That’s the response of a 12-year-old”, Cooper not-so-under-his-breath and very condescendingly tells Mr. Dennard, that “apparently he can’t break publicly from him, or you will get in trouble I guess …” Seriously CNN? You pretend, and keep peddling that you are not biased? That you employ non-biased journalists? This video completey and utterly destroys that narrative. Watch the video.
