Undoubtedly, everyone has seen that students walked out of class today, and horrifically enough, it was allowed and condoned by school officials. This was an attempt to get out of class. It was an attempt to be on t.v. and YouTube and other social media venues. Surprisingly enough, npr.org reported just about the walkout, no political commentary that I observed in the article I read. So, I had the misfortune, once again, of actually clicking a “Trending” article on Facebook – to be realistic, these “trending” articles are nothing more than free advertising for left leaning media outlets, peddling their propaganda – but, regardless I clicked one. It was in regards to President Trump wanting to, get this, send food to current food stamp recipients. Oh my GOD. How outrageous! How can they THINK to do something like send FOOD to the hungry? So, 2018 is now upon us. With that, comes Florida (Tallahassee) snow – something not seen (accumulation wise) since 1989! And, I remember that vividly. Great memories, but sad at the same time. But, onward we go. 2018, with the snow, and really cold temperatures starts the year on a high note. I am optimistic, or maybe hopeful, or both, that 2018 will show better times than 2017 did.
