That headline is playing over and over in a plethora of liberal heads across California (Hollywood in particular) – and perhaps – but not necessarily, some liberals across the U.S.
Unfortunately, that headline is also playing over and over among some of those in the United States Congress and United States Senate, that want nothing more than guaranteed votes in November of this year (2020.)
They have set aside any and all knowledge of the United States Constitution, and instead, have set party, and personal vendetta’s, above all else.
They have enacted two extremely vague Articles of Impeachment, with extraordinarily vague evidence, and have declared that a sitting United States President should be removed from office, despite a majority of Americans that participated in a fair Election (that albeit did not play to the pre-determined outcome that CNN, DNC, Hillary Clinton, Alyssa Milano, Michael Moore, Robert DeNiro, Jim Carrey, Cher, Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Fredo, Dear Diary, et al had apparently paid for) that is now hanging in the balance of one hundred (100) people. In fairness, it lays in the hands of four.
Four people, seeking brownie points or votes. To decide what sixty (60) plus million votes decided in 2016.
As Alan Dershowitz laid out far better than I ever could, the Founding Fathers feared this very day. They feared that a parliament could choose to on a whim remove an elected President.
And it comes down to essentially four people. Mitt Romney (who seemingly has a personal axe to grind with President Donald Trump), Susan Collins (who is seemingly trying to decide what path would lead to the most votes), Lisa Murkoswski (National Journal gave 45% being liberal) and Lamar Alexander (also, seemingly trying to decide what will get more votes.)
Four (4) people, setting aside 60 million votes, for power. The power to control not just this President, but all future Presidents of the United States.
Maxine Waters famously said, “Impeachment is what we say it is.”
It is beginning to appear that four Senators may just say, “Free and fair elections are what WE say it is.”
Four United States Senators, and their Democrat Senator counterparts, are content to exude all electoral powers of the people, on themselves, rather than the people to whom that right belongs.
They all are willing to set aside over two-hundred (200) years of precedent and free elections, to say that they, and they alone, control the President, and in turn the votes and will of the American people.
Four (4) Republican and forty-seven (47) Democratic Senators, even those that decreed, rightfully so, that impeaching a United States President for frivolous reasons, would fundamentally change our Constitutional Republic, are now willing to sell the souls of every American, to steal their Constitutionally guaranteed rights (votes), to wield power that the Founding Fathers themselves feared ever happening.
